The Cold Never Bothered Me Anyway... by Cytoscourge The Cold Never Bothered Me Anyway... by Cytoscourge
So, this is the beautiful Ice Queen, Elsa (from the Disney movie Frozen). I love her. The cold never bothered her, right? So, what's to stop her from going swimming in ice cold water?! She's an absolutely wonderful character and I admire her a lot! I used Autodesk Sketchbook Pro and a bit of Photoshop. Thank you for taking a look and please leave a comment! (I love comments, even a "nice job" or a "you have no talent!")...WARNING: self-deprecating rant to follow!

Goddammit! :depressed: This was supposed to be an amazing picture...but as always, it turned out like crap. I thought I had a good start with the lineart (I did not), but things went downhill from there. The entire picture was drawn with a worn-out pen nib. I also realized that the pressure sensitivity wasn't working on my tablet...that is, I've been drawing without pressure sensitivity for a year. I have to fix this issue. I gave up on the coloring once I realized this and just rushed through the rest. I'll start using a new nib now...I am really pissed off.

I'm sorry Queen Elsa, I'll do you justice next time. I promise. I'm going to take some time off from uploading stuff. In the meantime, I'm going to focus on my school work and more importantly, I'm going to fix up my tablet and REALLY invest some time in learning. Forgive me, watchers and friends.

teh rant is a lie! A lie I say! A LIE!
I think it looks really nice, as I do with all of your pieces, you've even got details and shading down, and it makes it look that much better, so stop feeling down, cause you're good and you know it
*slaps* be happy damnit

This is AMAZING! For starters the background is stunning. It's so well done and highly detailed.

The colouring on Elsa is also spectacular, particularly how you've used the shading to create detail like the abs.

Beautiful work my friend :D

Pleased Aw, thanks so much buddy! I spent a lot of time on this (A LOT...) so I tried to put as many details as I could.

Okay well, you don't have to throw the baby out with the bathwater. There are things about this that are great. Look at that bathing suit design! For Elsa, I may have laid off the black, but this is cute all the same. I want one. The bust detail in particular is my fave. I think you captured her hair very well and the background detail, though it blurs, is very well done.

Cheer up, buttercup. ;)

<3 I love that expression (baby and bathwater - gives me a wicked mental picture). Thanks so much for your compliment. I always try to pay attention to breasts since they are great things and one of the few delights of life which make it worth living...Ahem. The background was actually drawn crisp and clear, but I blurred it on purpose to be fancy >< Mistake, huh? :D Thanks so much for your input. I really, really appreciate your comments. Always. I'm cheered up now, Baggie
